- Design and build a time machine with friends. The wackier the better.

- Play "Truth or Dare"
- Take turns naming words for a letter of the alphabet; last one to think of a word wins, and you move to the next letter.
- See who can go the longest without talking.
- Go for a walk around the neighborhood and meet a new friend
- Read your child's favorite book instead of watching tv
- Tell each other things you appreciate about the other person
- Write, speak, or sign language that you love the other person
